Job Title: Team Leader - Visitor Experience

ARTECHOUSE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Visitor Experience team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our art space, ensuring a positive visitor experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Visitor Experience Hosts to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for visitors
  • Manage front desk procedures, including ticketing, re-bookings, and customer inquiries
  • Act as a liaison between departments to ensure seamless service and resolve visitor concerns and complaints
  • Train and supervise VE Hosts to ensure adherence to admission procedures and confirm outgoing information is current and accurate
  • Maintain a well-informed, working knowledge of installations and exhibitions offered
  • Give welcome and introductory talks for exhibitions
  • Manage crowd control and visitor traffic flow
  • Educate people about ARTECHOUSE's mission and current installation
  • Engage in conversation with visitors about their experience and the art
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a visitor services role, customer service, or hospitality position
  • Experience in overseeing other staff and managing a team
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with guests in difficult situations
  • Love working with people and passionate about providing one-of-a-kind artistic experiences
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict resolution
  • Flexibility and positivity in dealing with new experiences and people
  • Experience with ticketing and office software
  • Ability to spend shifts walking/standing/moving about in public spaces
  • Available to work weekends, holiday, and evening hours
