About the Position:

Papaya Payments is on the lookout for a Director of B2B Marketing to establish our product marketing framework and spearhead marketing initiatives for pivotal growth solutions. In this influential role, you will formulate and implement strategic marketing plans aimed at enhancing market visibility, engaging key stakeholders, and driving substantial revenue increases.

Primary Responsibilities:

Establishing Product Marketing Framework & Implementation

  • Product positioning and messaging: Collaborate across departments with product management, sales, and other teams to create impactful product positioning, messaging, and supporting materials that resonate with the target demographic.
  • Develop enablement resources for all stages of the sales funnel to enhance market penetration and conversion rates.
  • Create product literature, website content, and in-depth thought leadership materials to be disseminated through white papers, webinars, conference presentations, and reports.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive insights, and maintain an Analyst Relations (AR) program.

Leadership and Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Team Leadership: Recruit and manage direct reports, oversee operational processes and budgets, and provide guidance to team members as the marketing team grows.
  • Engagement with External Stakeholders: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, clients, and other relevant external parties to foster product adoption and loyalty.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure consistent messaging and execution of the product's narrative.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to pinpoint potential customers, market trends, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications We Seek:
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive Experience: Over 10 years of leadership experience in product marketing within the SaaS or related sectors, showcasing a proven track record in building product marketing from the ground up.
  • Industry Acumen: Profound understanding of enterprise decision-making processes and C-suite buying committees.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the proficiency to utilize data for strategic decision-making.
  • Exceptional Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, skilled at engaging business leaders and C-suite executives.
  • Proactive Leadership: Self-motivated individual with a passion for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborative Approach: Proven expertise in fostering and nurturing internal collaborations and relationships.
  • Willingness to Travel: Openness to travel for internal and external meetings and conferences (up to 20%).
