POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Cabling Systems Project Coordinator will oversee the entire life cycle of projects of varying complexities, ensuring successful completion within designated timelines. This role serves as the primary liaison for project updates, maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders while proactively identifying and addressing potential risks and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and organize detailed scope of work documentation.
  • Conduct comprehensive project estimates, including material take-offs, pricing analysis, bid summaries, and final proposal preparation.
  • Monitor proposal statuses through direct communication and follow-ups.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Conduct site surveys, evaluate new project opportunities, attend meetings, and propose effective solutions to installation challenges.
  • Engage with clients on-site and participate in pre-bid discussions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding material costs and subcontractor agreements.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate the design, installation, maintenance, and documentation of ICT systems projects, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, audio/visual systems, Wi-Fi, DAS, and other related technologies.
  • Collaborate with field teams to ensure timely project completion.
  • Provide service to both new and existing clients.
  • Research and lead the development of innovative project designs.
  • Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining oversight of project progress.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities related to projects, including bid creation, internal communication of project details, and client relationship management.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure timely invoicing for all project-related activities.
  • Facilitate regular project team meetings to review action items and schedules.
  • Manage project turnover processes.
  • Interpret blueprints and relevant building specifications.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace for internal communication, bid creation, and document management.
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities as the role evolves.

Essential Duties:

  • Demonstrate a high level of initiative, synthesizing new technologies, industry trends, and client needs to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and value.
  • Apply knowledge of intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, networking, and IP networks in daily tasks.
  • Utilize expertise in systems such as Axis, Milestone, Genetec, Hanwa, BOSCH, and Exacq Vision to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess basic computer and smartphone proficiency.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
  • Pass drug screening and background checks as required.
  • Engage frequently with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service capabilities.

Work Environment:

  • Regular exposure to non-climate-controlled work settings.
  • Potential exposure to airborne particles and outdoor construction conditions.
  • Noise levels may vary based on the worksite and tools used.
  • Handle various items and equipment, including control knobs and switches.
  • Adhere to all company safety and appearance guidelines.
  • Maintain safe work practices at all times.
  • Follow customer policies and safety compliance regulations.
  • Ensure an orderly workflow and maintain good housekeeping standards.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Availability for night and weekend work, as well as travel when necessary.
  • Punctuality is essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Successful completion of drug screening and background checks is mandatory.
