Role Summary
We are in search of a Senior Project Manager to enhance our dynamic team. The successful candidate will oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial approval and planning stages through to execution and final closeout, ensuring that projects are completed successfully and on schedule. This position entails managing projects of moderate to high complexity and requires a proactive and innovative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare comprehensive scope of work documentation
  • Generate project estimates, including take-offs, pricing, bid summaries, and final bid documentation
  • Maintain proactive communication regarding proposal statuses through verbal and written correspondence
  • Establish and manage project budgets, timelines, and key milestones
  • Conduct site surveys, participate in meetings, and offer solutions to installation challenges
  • Engage in negotiations with vendors regarding material costs and subcontractor agreements
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks, ensuring compliance with project timelines
  • Coordinate the design, installation, maintenance, and documentation of ICT systems projects, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and other related systems
  • Collaborate effectively with field teams to ensure timely project completion
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and subcontractors
  • Oversee all project-related invoicing, ensuring timely submissions
  • Lead regular project team meetings to review action items and project schedules
  • Interpret blueprints and building specifications accurately
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Suite tools for effective communication, bidding, and document management
  • Assume additional responsibilities as necessary to support the growth of the role

Qualifications and Experience

  • Technical college certificate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in structured cabling and physical security
  • At least 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience in the engineering or contracting sectors is preferred
  • Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and technology design within built environments is advantageous
  • Advanced understanding of ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards
  • BICSI certification or RCDD designation is a plus
