POSITION SUMMARY
The 340B Compliance Program Coordinator operates under the guidance of the Director of Pharmacy Operations. This role is essential in overseeing the adherence to 340B regulations and ensuring compliance across all affiliated entities within the organization. Key responsibilities encompass the administration of dispense claims, analysis of claims, and the management of the 340B Drug program operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.

Guarantees adherence to all components of the 340B program and executes all relevant guidelines set forth by the Office of Pharmacy Affairs.

2. Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for 340B compliance and performance metrics.
3. Formulates metrics for monitoring program compliance across all covered entities.
4. Organizes and supervises both internal and external audits for 340B compliance.
5. Develops and maintains policies and procedures related to the 340B program.
6. Serves as the primary liaison for managing relationships and accountability with the assigned third-party administrator (TPA) vendor.
7. Aids in the review and negotiation of 340B contracts.
8. Functions as the liaison for associated departments (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Finance, IT, Pharmacy) to uphold the integrity of the 340B Program.
9.

Fosters and maintains external partnerships:
Engages with Apexus, HRSA, wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, vendors, pharmacy benefit managers, and third-party administrators.
10.

Delivers ongoing education, training, and communication to all personnel, especially those frequently interacting with the 340B Program, regarding its operations and compliance.

11.

Stays informed about policy modifications affecting the 340B program, including but not limited to HRSA-OPA regulations and Medicaid updates.

12. Participates in the monthly financial assessment of 340B cost savings.
13. Collaborates with pharmacy leadership on the implementation of new and existing clinical services that yield 340B savings.
14. Willingness to travel to covered 340B entities as needed.
15. Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor's degree; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.

Certification and Licensing:
Apexus 340B Certification; PharmD preferred.

Experience:
3-5 years of experience in healthcare management specifically related to 340B.

Skills and Attributes:
