Job Summary

The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence in all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and banquet facilities. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and train staff to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Excellence: Ensure that all food and beverage staff provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of food and beverage outlets, including inventory management, purchasing, and cost control.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of food and beverage staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and beverages meet Marriott's high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Financial Management: Manage food and beverage budgets, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Monitor and respond to guest feedback and concerns to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality, food service, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, including supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to motivate and train staff, excellent customer service skills, and basic math skills.
