We are in search of a Food and Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the front-of-house team at our on-site dining venue. This role requires candidates with extensive knowledge of wines, particularly those with a focus on French varieties, as well as proficiency in mixology and bar management, alongside experience in delivering exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business associates
  • Lead and mentor the management team
  • Recruit, train, and develop managers and supervisors
  • Encourage a positive team culture within a vibrant work environment
  • Develop strong guest relationships and consistently exceed their expectations
  • Ensure excellence across all business facets, including sales, employee retention, food quality, and cleanliness

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a General Manager/Director in the restaurant sector OR 6+ years as an Assistant General Manager/Manager in upscale dining
  • Strong wine knowledge is essential, with a preference for French wines
  • Experience in high-end dining establishments is preferred
  • Ability to engage with discerning clientele
  • Willingness to relocate to Oregon State
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in high-pressure situations
  • Experience in profit and loss management and food safety certification
  • Flexible schedule and physical stamina for the demands of the role

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
