Position Summary:

We are in search of a Retail Account Executive to oversee our expanding retail partnerships. This position will be responsible for the daily operational needs of our customers while collaborating on the execution of our long-term retail strategies. The role will involve working closely with our operations, product, and marketing teams to drive initiatives that support our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at major retail accounts to enhance Dr. Squatch's visibility as a leading omnichannel brand.
  • Collaborate with brokers, distributors, and external partners to create effective short- and long-term strategies tailored to each account.
  • Work alongside the Director of Retail Sales to formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and customer engagement.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop eye-catching merchandising displays that showcase Dr. Squatch products effectively.
  • Design and manage trade promotions and account-specific budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support retail initiatives and ensure alignment across all functions.
  • Prepare sales materials and resources necessary for successful outreach efforts.
  • Provide insights for demand planning specific to each account.
  • Collaborate with the commercialization team to ensure seamless execution of new product launches within your accounts.

Candidate Profile:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, preferably in personal care or wellness.
  • A mix of experience with both established brands and emerging companies.
  • Strong connections or experience with tier 1 retailers, particularly in the food, drug, and mass sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed ambitious sales targets.
  • Experience managing multiple broker networks effectively.
  • Background in optimizing performance and overseeing third-party merchandising teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the national accounts landscape, including brokers and distributors.
  • Experience in scaling brands and pioneering retail sales is highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in health, wellness, personal care, and eCommerce sectors.
  • Experience in the consumer products industry is strongly preferred.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a sense of urgency and ownership.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to assist others, and a good sense of humor.
