Job Summary

This role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality patient scheduling and registration services
  • Ensuring excellent telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction
  • Serving as the front-line contact person for incoming patients
  • Greeting, registering, and scheduling patients, as well as collecting point-of-service copays
  • Providing general information to patients and their families using AIDET

This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to take independent action, and a commitment to upholding Cooper's values in interactions with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating patient discharge and ensuring a smooth transition
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support
  • Utilizing computer systems and software to manage patient information
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literacy and experience with medical software
  • Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
