Job Title: Executive Pastry Chef

The Alfond Inn at Rollins is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and prepare innovative recipes and menus that showcase our culinary expertise and creativity.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to deliver delightful and memorable culinary experiences.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team and management to develop and refine menu items, specials, and promotions that appeal to guests' preferences and dietary needs.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients and supplies, and conducting regular stock checks to ensure adequate levels for production.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a pastry chef or in a related role.
  • High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Culinary Arts education preferred.
  • Serve-Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.
