Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Garde Manger Line Cook to join our team at Reef Capital Partners. This entry-level role is responsible for the preparation and plating of hot and cold appetizers, salads, and raw bar items, including opening oysters and other shellfish for our outlets.
Under the supervision of our executive chef, the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, assisting with food preparation, plating, and presentation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a dynamic and growing restaurant group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plate hot and cold appetizers, salads, and raw bar items
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Work with the pastry team to plate desserts during service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements:
- 1+ years of restaurant experience, preferably in a similar role
- Knowledge of French cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
