In this pivotal role, you will oversee and serve as the primary liaison for strategic accounts within a designated district, region, or cluster of branches. Your efforts will be crucial in enhancing our market presence and expanding our strategic customer base. You may also engage in significant projects or be responsible for identifying new large-scale opportunities.

As the main point of contact for our most vital clients, you will utilize your sales expertise to thoroughly comprehend and proactively address the needs of these key accounts. Your strategic foresight will not only propel our growth but also foster your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing strategic accounts and their subsidiaries in your designated area, serving as the primary contact for your clients.
  • Conduct and present formal business reviews to decision-makers and senior sales executives of strategic account companies.
  • Identify and pursue large project opportunities involving strategic account customers; coordinate leads with branch sales representatives.
  • Prospect and qualify new strategic accounts from existing branch accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts, including those of competitors.
  • Leverage Sales and other CRM tools to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with Outside Sales Representatives and National Account Managers to drive revenue for national accounts and branches, in addition to your assigned strategic accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in branch or sales management, with a focus on large accounts or internal sales representative experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel 70% of the time within the assigned territory.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation, and research skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high motivation to succeed despite challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adept at using technology tools to enhance performance efficiency.
  • Familiarity with sales data tools such as FW Dodge.
