Position: Account Director

Overview:

The Account Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the performance of critical accounts. This position is essential for achieving operational excellence, driving cost efficiencies, and fostering a positive work environment that enhances employee engagement and productivity. Collaborating closely with the Vice President, the Account Director will contribute to the strategic vision and ensure the successful execution of key initiatives such as Maintenance Reliability, National Purchasing Strategies, and Supplier Consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Ensure alignment with client objectives and performance metrics.
    • Facilitate a collaborative review of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and analyze performance.
    • Develop a comprehensive three-year operational strategy for each location, incorporating both operational and capital improvement recommendations.
  • Performance Management: Establish best practices and KPIs for effective performance evaluation.
    • Identify essential services and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks associated with service delivery.
  • Service Level Oversight: Drive service excellence across accounts by collaborating with client teams to establish tailored performance metrics.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct monthly performance reviews to ensure alignment with strategic goals and optimal service delivery.
  • Financial Management: Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain financial health.
  • Client Engagement: Conduct regular account review meetings to discuss performance, operational reviews, and address any issues.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure consistent service delivery and manage client interactions effectively.
  • Budget Oversight: Review and escalate significant financial requests as necessary.
  • Strategic Direction: Set and implement strategic initiatives to meet client objectives.
  • Performance Accountability: Establish performance goals and provide guidance to team members to achieve them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • 7-10 years of senior-level experience in managing multiple facility operations.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data and present findings effectively.
  • Experience in commercial and industrial facility management is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
