Job Summary:

Huntington National Bank is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our corporate lending team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable customer relationships within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow and maintain customer relationships within the healthcare industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless sales and service efforts to customers.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and risk assessments to determine the appropriateness of new and prospective customers and transactions.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Management and Credit teams to ensure all relationships are in strategic alignment with the risk profile of the bank.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to develop their sales and credit skills with larger and more complex relationships.
  • Retain and deepen assigned relationships through compelling ideas and insights in concert with product partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong and proven credit and sales skills, particularly with larger and more complex companies within the healthcare industry.
  • Corporate or Mid Corp lending experience within the Healthcare sector is required.
  • Proven deepening skills with multiple fee-based products.
  • Proven track record in winning new relationships.
  • Solid team player with strong collaboration and partnering skills.
  • Ability to differentiate based on strong relationship building skills as well as offering deep, compelling and actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Internal success drive and ability to manage success and challenges.
  • Adaptable and flexible self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment to execute strategy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 7+ years' experience with Healthcare industry lending.
  • Corporate and/or Mid Corp lending experience.
  • Series 79 and 63 licensed, or willingness to obtain.

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $250,000.00 annual salary
