Position: Account Director

Overview:

The Account Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the performance of key strategic accounts. This position is integral to achieving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and fostering a positive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction and productivity. Collaborating closely with the Vice President, the Account Director will contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of programs aimed at enhancing operational reliability, optimizing purchasing strategies, and driving workforce efficiency across the account portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Planning: Ensure alignment with client objectives and performance metrics by utilizing a collaborative approach to review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Performance Management: Identify and implement best practices and KPIs to effectively manage and assess account performance, including contingency planning for critical services.
  • Service Delivery Optimization: Drive service levels across the portfolio, collaborating with client teams to establish performance metrics that align with business strategies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of monthly reports to ensure strategic alignment and effective service delivery.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage accounts receivable and payable processes to maintain current accounts.
  • Client Engagement: Facilitate regular account review meetings with clients to discuss performance, operational reviews, and overall business objectives.
  • Operational Coordination: Ensure consistent service delivery and manage work requests that approach budget limits.
  • Strategic Leadership: Establish goals and performance criteria to proactively manage the business and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Development: Mentor and guide team members, fostering an environment of accountability and high performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of senior-level experience in managing multiple facility operations.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Experience in operations and maintenance within commercial and industrial environments is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
