Strategic Account Manager - Wealth

The Strategic Account Manager - Wealth role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for advancing the relationship with our partners in Wealth as a key strategic relationship.

This role requires a unique blend of sales expertise, financial acumen, and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets within Wealth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets within Wealth
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth
  • Align with distribution to achieve revenue targets
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with the Northern Trust Wealth Investment Practice to maximize coverage with product, due diligence, advisory sales leadership, operations, and logistics
  • Develop a full understanding/articulation of the services NTAM provides to wealth and conduct systematic review of services/products/pricing and SLAs
  • Negotiate fee and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and sustainable growth for Northern Trust
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision making and mitigate risk
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales, account management, and business development within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services
  • 15+ years of financial services experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders
  • Prefer advanced degree or designations such as CFA, CAIA, CIMA, CFP, CPA
