Strategic Account Manager - WealthThe Strategic Account Manager - Wealth role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for advancing the relationship with our partners in Wealth as a key strategic relationship.
This role requires a unique blend of sales expertise, financial acumen, and strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets within Wealth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets within Wealth
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for growth
- Align with distribution to achieve revenue targets
- Maintain and deepen relationships with the Northern Trust Wealth Investment Practice to maximize coverage with product, due diligence, advisory sales leadership, operations, and logistics
- Develop a full understanding/articulation of the services NTAM provides to wealth and conduct systematic review of services/products/pricing and SLAs
- Negotiate fee and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and sustainable growth for Northern Trust
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision making and mitigate risk
- Proven track record of success in sales, account management, and business development within the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of financial products and services
- 15+ years of financial services experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders
- Prefer advanced degree or designations such as CFA, CAIA, CIMA, CFP, CPA
