Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in providing audit support.
  • Responsible for overseeing the monthly financial closing process.
  • Will assist the Senior Vice President of Operations & Finance and the Vice President of Finance in managing various projects without direct personnel management.
  • Involvement in the preparation of a comprehensive 24-month budget.
  • Tasked with the preparation of financial statements.
  • Responsible for conducting reconciliations.
  • Will handle various ad hoc tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems is essential (the organization utilizes NetForum; familiarity with this system is advantageous).
  • Prior experience in audit preparation or direct audit involvement is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including keyboard shortcuts, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP functions.
  • A degree in a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Experience in nonprofit accounting is preferred, particularly an understanding of membership dues and their accounting treatment.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus, provided the candidate has experience with other accounting software.
