Job Summary

Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing our financial operations, including accounts payable and electronic health records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations
    • Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and expense reports.
    • Reconcile and code monthly credit card statements.
    • File and maintain accounting documents, records, and reports.
  • Electronic Health Records
    • Serve as EHR Super-user, providing technical expertise and guidance to staff.
    • Manage EHR database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Support organizational leadership with developing and delivering staff trainings related to EHR utilization.
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the operations team, including data entry and documentation.
    • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience
    • Two years' experience as a bookkeeper or accounts payable specialist.
    • Demonstrated competency using accounting software.
    • One year's experience with electronic healthcare records for community-based social services.
  • Skills
    • Demonstrated effective analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to interact with vendors and stakeholders effectively and professionally.
    • Possess excellent computer skills to perform job duties, including accounting software, email, time sheet management, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience with administrative tasks, such as tracking and monitoring data, documentation, etc.
  • Experience working with and understanding of billable services with the Medicaid system.
Working Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of settings, including our office, Zoom or other approved digital meeting platforms, and occasional off-site contact as needed.
