Position: Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a proficient Fire Alarm Technician to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The following duties are essential. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed:

  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and program Fire Alarm, Access Control, Nurse Call, Intrusion, Sound, CCTV, and IP Video Systems.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including Work Tickets and Inspection Reports, for service calls and inspections.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Provide comprehensive oral and written feedback to management regarding customer concerns.
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with team members and clients.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and be available for flexible working hours as required.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work with low voltage systems.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Fire Alarm or Security sector is required.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; vocational training or industry certification is advantageous.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes are essential.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • NICET fire alarm certification is preferred or the candidate must be willing to obtain it.
  • The ability to lift equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds is necessary.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel) is required.
