Position: Service Sales Representative
The Service Sales Representative plays a crucial role in promoting and selling fire sprinkler systems to General Contractors and end users within a designated region. This position involves estimating and quoting fire protection systems for various commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, while fostering strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and cultivate new and existing customer accounts.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction with our services.
- Address customer issues promptly and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide timely quotes for services and follow up on inquiries.
- Engage with potential clients to qualify leads and schedule sales meetings.
- Assess customer needs and develop tailored sales strategies.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Interpret blueprints and understand relevant NFPA standards and local regulations.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, contractors, and end users.
- Collaborate with branch personnel to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys as needed.
- Establish and maintain vendor relationships.
- Obtain necessary licenses and certifications for job functions.
- Execute monthly sales calls as directed by management.
- Adhere to company processes and complete all documentation accurately.
- Continuously enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Travel to client sites as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Associate's degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in selling service contracts within the Fire Protection sector is essential.
- Experience in sprinkler design and hydraulic calculations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards is required.
- Knowledge of industry practices for service and inspection is necessary.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
