Position: Fire Alarm Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to this role. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and program Fire Alarm, Access Control, Nurse Call, Intrusion, Sound, CCTV, and IP Video Systems.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including Work Tickets and Inspection Reports, for service calls and inspections.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Provide comprehensive oral and written feedback to management regarding customer concerns.
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with team members and clients.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and be flexible with work hours as required.
- Demonstrate the ability to work with low voltage systems.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Fire Alarm or Security sector is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; vocational training or industry certification is advantageous.
- Strong technical abilities and a willingness to learn new systems and processes are essential.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- NICET fire alarm certification is preferred or the candidate must be willing to obtain it.
- Physical capability to lift equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds is necessary.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel) is required.
