Position: Fire Alarm Technician
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to enhance our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and program Fire Alarm, Access Control, Nurse Call, Intrusion, Sound, CCTV, and IP Video Systems.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including Work Tickets and Inspection Reports, for service calls and inspections.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Provide comprehensive feedback to management regarding customer concerns.
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with team members and clients.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and be flexible with working hours as needed.
- Work with low voltage systems as required.
Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Fire Alarm or Security sector.
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; vocational training is advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- NICET fire alarm certification is preferred or the willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to lift equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
