About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Event Sales Manager to join our team at Wedgewood Weddings & Events. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding our presence in the Greater Phoenix area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy focused on corporate, non-profit, and association events. Identify new business opportunities and develop innovative approaches to drive revenue growth.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and client needs. Use this knowledge to tailor your sales approach and provide exceptional client experiences.
  • Event Sales and Revenue Growth: Utilize our stunning weekday event spaces to their fullest potential, driving revenue and creating exceptional experiences for our clients.
  • Client Relationship Building: Nurture and grow relationships with key clients, ensuring repeat business and glowing referrals. You will be the face of Wedgewood Weddings in the Phoenix area, conducting site tours and consultations that wow our clients.
  • Proposal Development and Presentation: Use Salesforce to create detailed, customized proposals that align perfectly with client needs and our high standards.
  • Online Presence and Reputation Management: Strengthen our online presence by securing positive reviews and promptly addressing any feedback. Your efforts will ensure Wedgewood Weddings remains a trusted name in the industry.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Training: Work closely with our team in sales meetings and Banquet Event Order (BEO) discussions. Cross-train in social sales and event planning to support your colleagues and expand your skills.
  • Performance and Results: Consistently achieve—and surpass—sales targets and performance goals, driving both your success and ours.
Requirements
  • A commitment to outstanding guest service and hospitality.
  • Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (preferred).
  • A keen eye for detail and a knack for organization.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the confidence to close deals.
  • A collaborative spirit that builds rapport with clients and team members alike.
  • A solid background with at least 5 years of experience in Catering Sales Management, Corporate Sales Management, Event Planning, or related fields.
