Job Description

Job Title: Field Support Analyst II

Location : This position will operate in a hybrid model (remote and office) from our Elevance Health PulsePoint location.

Elevance Health is a leading health organization committed to enhancing lives and communities. We are involved in managing government contracts for Medicare and collaborating with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to innovate federal health programs.

The Field Support Analyst II will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving computer software installations and hardware issues of moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install a diverse range of computer hardware components.
  • Recognize when software licensing is necessary and install software of moderate complexity.
  • Suggest standard software solutions that align with customer requirements and assist the Software Deployment team in troubleshooting deployment challenges during large-scale software rollouts.
  • Provide remote assistance for other IT teams or external service providers.
  • Diagnose and resolve computer software issues of moderate complexity, which may involve reinstalling applications or making system registry/file adjustments using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Participate in both single and large-scale relocations.
  • Conduct Tech Refresh installations and facilitate end-user acceptance testing.
  • Engage in various projects requiring technical resources.
  • Attend scheduled project meetings and offer technical and logistical guidance to project teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • An AA/AS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience with PC and operating systems, and Dell hardware certification; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • This role is part of our FGS (Federal Government Services) division, which mandates that foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of residing in the United States for at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Microsoft A+, MCP, and Network+ certifications are highly preferred.
