Retail Media Advertising Campaign Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
In collaboration with the Retail Media Sponsored Ads Manager, your role will involve crafting tailored proposals and engaging in client discussions to identify their advertising objectives. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of sponsored ad campaigns for a diverse range of clients, focusing on keyword analysis, budget management, and performance evaluation. Your responsibilities will include monitoring campaign effectiveness through data-driven insights, conducting A/B testing, and keeping abreast of the latest industry developments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail Media Strategy Development:
- Formulate and implement retail media strategies that align with broader business objectives, with guidance from the Retail Media Sponsored Ads Manager.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including brand management and integrated marketing, to ensure advertising strategies are in sync with overall business goals.
- Develop proposals that reflect solutions tailored to client objectives, with assistance from the Retail Media Sponsored Ads Manager.
- Engage in client discussions to gain insights into their needs, supported by the Retail Media Sponsored Ads Manager.
Campaign Oversight:
- Oversee the complete execution of sponsored ad campaigns for a range of clients, which includes keyword research, campaign setup, and performance tracking.
- Manage advertising budgets, ensuring proper allocation and optimization at the tactic level.
- Address and resolve any challenges related to campaigns, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Assist in billing processes by verifying accuracy.
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new marketing opportunities.
- Respond to custom report requests and tailor client performance tracking as needed.
- Follow all established processes associated with the role; suggest improvements for efficiency.
Performance Optimization & Monitoring:
- Analyze and monitor campaign performance, utilizing data insights to enhance targeting, keywords, bids, and ad placements.
- Support post-campaign evaluations, offering recommendations to encourage repeat business.
- Provide regular updates and reports on campaign performance to stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct A/B testing and explore various advertising methods to determine effective strategies.
Industry Expertise & Skills:
- Familiarity with multiple retail media solutions (such as Amazon, Walmart, Target/Roundel, Instacart) and relevant advertising technologies (AMC, Criteo, Citrus Ads, Skai).
- Proactively seek out industry trends, algorithm changes, and competitive insights to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Associate's degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing retail media sponsored ads (including platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Instacart) with a proven track record of meeting client goals.
- Knowledge of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and online customer acquisition strategies.
- Familiarity with advertising technologies that support retail media solutions, such as Skai, Helium10, Pacvue, Analytic Index, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Intentwise.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in essential Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to utilize formulas, functions, and pivot tables at an entry to intermediate level.
- Experience in managing projects and campaigns across multiple clients and initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships and effectively resolve issues across teams.
