The Alumni & Social Media Engagement Specialist will collaborate closely with the Admissions department to enhance and cultivate relationships with alumni, fostering increased participation in events and referrals. Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote the alumni program to current clients in treatment by facilitating group activities and participating in events.

  • Document all interactions with alumni meticulously.
  • Attend networking events to expand professional connections.

  • Market alumni events, workshops, and programs through various communication channels.
  • Travel to alumni events and workshops as a liaison when necessary.
  • Actively engage in alumni events to foster community.
  • Research audience preferences and identify current trends in social media.
  • Create compelling text, image, and video content for social media platforms.
  • Design posts that captivate readers' interest and generate excitement around new initiatives.
  • Analyze web traffic and monitor SEO performance.
  • Stay informed about changes in social media platforms to ensure optimal effectiveness.
  • Facilitate online discussions with customers and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Report on customer feedback and online reviews.
  • Adhere to a structured posting schedule based on web traffic and engagement metrics.
Required Skills:
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experienced with social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles.
  • Knowledgeable about the latest technologies and their application in marketing.
  • Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present innovative ideas for brand expansion.
  • Proven writing and editing skills to ensure clear and targeted public communications.
  • Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Certification in Drug and Alcohol counseling (e.g., RAS, CAS, CADC, CATS, CDC, CAADAC, NAADAC, or equivalent).
  • Preferred experience in marketing.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Maintain current certifications relevant to this position, including CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention.
