Position Overview:
As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the main point of contact for our esteemed customers and partners. Your role is crucial in guaranteeing their satisfaction through prompt, accurate, and courteous assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Communication & Support
  • Comprehensive Product Support: Respond to incoming inquiries via calls and emails, providing detailed information about our offerings, order processes, shipment tracking, returns, and repairs.
  • Customer Advocacy: Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, focusing on achieving positive outcomes and fostering long-term relationships.
Order Processing & Management
  • Order Management: Efficiently process customer orders, manage returns, and track order status while ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the Sales Department to follow up on quotes, provide necessary product materials, and assist with special projects.
Technical Knowledge & Expertise
  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your product knowledge to research specifications, identify alternatives, and provide information on unavailable items.
  • Information Hub: Relay significant quotes, orders, and potential sales leads to relevant leadership and departmental heads.
Data Management & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate account information within the invoicing and accounting system.
  • Keep updated mailing and contact lists for all vendors and customers.
Process Improvement & Teamwork
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance customer service processes and contribute to a culture of excellence.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Production, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Position Requirements:

Required Skills:
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required Education and Experience:
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: This role operates in a professional office setting, with interaction with employees on the manufacturing floor. Standard office equipment such as computers and phones will be utilized.

Physical Demands: The physical requirements include regular communication, standing, sitting, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a Full-Time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.

Travel: Travel is not required for this position.
