Human Resources Coordinator

We are in search of a proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR department. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our mission and promote a positive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include enhancing our company's talent acquisition efforts.

Position Overview: Reports directly to the President/Owner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, source, publish, and manage job advertisements across various platforms
  • Conduct initial phone screenings, face-to-face interviews, and onboarding sessions for new hires
  • Monitor and report on applicant flow, new hires, and the effectiveness of recruitment sources
  • Facilitate employee background checks and manage new hire documentation
  • Establish connections with community partners, former caregivers, and current staff to create recruitment opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with the Scheduler to assess staffing requirements
  • Occasional on-call duties
  • Handle phone inquiries, take comprehensive notes, and direct calls as needed
  • Maintain accurate records in the electronic health management system
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 1-2 years of experience in home care, with HR experience preferred
  • Highly motivated, dependable, and a collaborative team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Ability to pass background checks
Compensation: $41,000 - $50,000 annually
