Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our outpatient substance abuse counseling facility. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the RHD values and perform job duties with a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to staff members or voicemail, and convey messages as needed.
  • Field and address general inquiries regarding services provided at our facility.
  • Greet clients and complete check-in procedures.
  • Collect and record payments for services.
  • Schedule evaluation appointments and maintain accurate records.
  • Process evaluations and communicate status with referral sources.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in clerical or administrative work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with electronic health records is preferred.
  • Bilingual speakers are highly encouraged to apply.
Physical Demands
  • Sitting, standing, and moving about to perform duties.
  • Using a computer monitor and keyboard for extended periods.
  • Reviewing electronic documents and files, entering data, and creating reports.
  • Using standard office equipment, such as copiers and telephones.
Working Conditions
  • Light lifting, exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • Stationary position, standing, walking, and using hands or fingers to handle objects.
