We are in search of a motivated, curious, and strategic professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will significantly influence and refine various operational processes and internal functions.

  • Position: Human Resources Strategy & Operations Lead
  • Status: Full-time employee (minimum 32 hours per week)
  • Location: Fully remote
  • Office Setup: Provided after successful completion of initial tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for consultants to ensure a seamless transition
  • Manage consultant skill inventories to align with organizational objectives
  • Coordinate and oversee resources, schedules, and service delivery to clients
  • Facilitate efficient operations and provide robust support to consultants
  • Develop strong relationships within the Animal Care Training Services team and with external partners
  • Identify and implement enhancements to existing processes
  • Maintain regular communication and updates with stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and data-driven decision-making
  • Effective written, verbal, and virtual communication abilities
  • Tactful approach in challenging situations
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Project management experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in productivity software and virtual team management
  • Background in life sciences or related fields is advantageous

First 90 Days:

  • Establish a comprehensive onboarding process for consultants
  • Develop a strategy for managing consultant skill sets
  • Organize a framework for client placements
  • Utilize strong interpersonal skills across various scenarios
  • Apply attention to detail and a data-centric approach
  • Demonstrate effective communication in diverse contexts
  • Maintain composure and persuasiveness in challenging discussions
  • Be open to occasional travel
  • Previous project management experience is beneficial
  • Familiarity with productivity tools and virtual team coordination is advantageous
  • Knowledge in life sciences, biomedical research, or biotechnology is a plus
