Job Overview

The Human Resources Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing, coordinating, and managing all human resource functions within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and adheres to legal obligations and reporting requirements related to human resources, ensuring that all policies and procedures comply with regulations.
  • Manages the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including updates for new hires, terminations, and other payroll-related changes.
  • Maintains comprehensive employee records and oversees their management.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable wage and hour laws at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Conducts recruitment processes, including interviewing and testing candidates for open positions.
  • Facilitates new employee orientation sessions.
  • Handles daily HR operations, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Administers employee benefits programs and evaluates options to best meet organizational needs.
  • Coordinates data transfers to external vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborates with management to address employee disciplinary matters and mediate grievances.
  • Organizes training sessions for management and staff as needed.
  • Conducts market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices.
  • Works with senior leadership on personnel-related legal matters and engages external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Represents the organization in personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Performs additional HR administrative tasks as required.
  • Undertakes other corporate projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Experience Required:

  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resource management.
  • Proficient in ADP WFN for payroll processing, HRIS, ATS, and performance management systems.
  • Familiarity with federal and state labor regulations.
  • Strong ability to cultivate professional relationships.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • HR certifications from recognized bodies such as HRCI or SHRM (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP).
