Job Summary

Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecological Restoration Specialist to join our team based out of our King of Prussia, PA office. As a Restoration Technician I, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality ecological restoration services to our clients in the private and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ecological Restoration Activities: Conduct invasive plant species control, native plant and seed installation, stream and shoreline stabilization/construction, and other types of habitat restoration.
  • Project Implementation: Interpret and utilize field maps, engineered plan sets, and specifications for project implementation, and communicate project needs and progress to the appropriate Restoration Supervisor or Operations Manager.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment such as backpack sprayers, chainsaws, brush saws, ATVs/UTVs, tractors, skid steers, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers, depending on experience and proficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or equivalent.
  • License: Valid drivers license and ability to obtain a Pennsylvania Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Operator license within the first three months of employment.
  • Certification: Ability to obtain and maintain a FedMed Certificate and drive a DOT registered truck and trailer within six months of employment.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in the field conducting ecological restoration activities, or a bachelors degree in ecology, biology, zoology, botany, forestry, or other natural resource fields.
