Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee a diverse range of recreational programs tailored to meet the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with residents to ensure their active participation and enjoyment.
  • Establish and manage a volunteer program to support activities and events.
  • Coordinate and schedule external entertainment and events to enhance resident engagement.
  • Create and distribute monthly calendars, newsletters, and organize themed events to keep residents informed and involved.
  • Plan and execute outings and excursions for residents, ensuring a variety of experiences.
  • Conduct regular visits to resident rooms and participate in community meetings to gather feedback and ideas.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications:
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check as required by licensing.
  • Must complete a pre-employment physical and TB test.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including availability for weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in activity coordination is preferred.
