What You'll Do:

  • Proactively plan and schedule meetings with college professors and authors to discuss business opportunities and collaborations.
  • Run meetings to interview and identify potential authors for our publications.
  • Travel to different locations to meet with key stakeholders and make the most of your time by making additional phone calls to prioritize contacts.
  • Follow up with prospective and existing authors, keeping notes and next steps in our CRM to ensure seamless communication.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about education. As a Business Development Lead, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire new business opportunities. You'll work closely with our in-house team to ensure that our publications meet the needs of our customers.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and two years of sales experience.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A positive and 'can-do' attitude towards life.
  • Experience in teaching or sales is a plus.

The estimated salary for this role is between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
