Job Description

As an Acquisitions Manager at Great River Learning, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities in the higher education market. Your primary responsibility will be to interview and persuade college professors to develop interactive and engaging materials for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively plan and schedule meetings with college professors to discuss potential business opportunities
  • Run meetings to interview and identify business opportunities, and recruit select college professors to become GRL authors
  • Follow-up with prospective and existing authors, keeping notes and next steps in the CRM for all prospective, in-development, and existing publications

Requirements:

  • Competitive, highly organized, and self-driven individual with a strong sales background
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and a bachelor's degree with two years of sales experience
