As a Senior Mechanical Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our renowned Advanced Programs division.

This position is part of a historic initiative that focuses on pioneering systems development, including innovative design and rapid prototyping of both new solutions and enhancements to existing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will provide support for a program requiring travel to various locations to meet customer needs. Candidates must be prepared to work in diverse environments and comply with necessary training and medical requirements.

Your role will involve being an essential part of the operations and maintenance team. You will support on-site customer operations, ensuring the deployment, preparation, maintenance, and redeployment of program assets. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical systems and subsystems, attending debriefings to identify and resolve system issues, and documenting operational challenges to facilitate technical resolutions.

Additionally, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of support equipment.



Security Clearance Requirement

Must possess a TS clearance that has been investigated within the last five years.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in team leadership
  • Field environment experience
  • Hands-on mechanical expertise in aircraft maintenance, repair, and inspection

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with aircraft shop practices and safety protocols
  • Experience in managing costs, schedules, and quality in MRO activities
  • Technical report writing capabilities
  • Experience in operating and maintaining support equipment
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to meet customer needs
  • FAA A&P License preferred
