Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Business Development Representative to join our team at Paychex. As a Sales Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue expectations by developing and executing a sales strategy that aligns with company goals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as industry trends and market conditions, to effectively communicate value to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources, including accountants, banks, and existing Paychex clients, to secure referrals and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to identify new business opportunities and develop targeted sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product initiatives, services, and industry trends to optimize sales results and provide value to clients.
  • Collect, complete, and submit all necessary paperwork for new sales within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) guidelines.
  • Address and escalate client concerns to our Service Partners, and follow-up as necessary to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • May be required to travel for purposes of visiting channel partners, attending sales incentive trips, ongoing training, and/or area meetings.
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
  • 2 years of experience in relevant sales/marketing capacity.
  • 2 years of experience in a Paychex sales role.
  • Valid Driver's License Required
