Claims Assistance Coordinator

In this role, you will operate under moderate supervision to carry out essential claims and zone support tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute administrative and support functions, which include managing phone communications, organizing files, duplicating documents, faxing, and handling mail distribution while fostering relationships with third-party vendors.
• Manage inventory and coordinate meetings effectively.
• Welcome and guide visitors to the appropriate staff members.
• Provide both inbound and outbound phone support, ensuring exceptional customer service for all stakeholders, including policyholders, claimants, and agents, prioritizing their inquiries.
• Offer customer service assistance during adverse weather conditions, including handling CAT loss reports and related support tasks.
• Deliver support across various areas such as material damage, property, liability, subrogation, workers' compensation, medical claims, and litigation.
• Assist in multiple activities, including the preparation and processing of documents, ensuring timely and confidential handling of claim file information regularly.
• Support follow-up communications and other claim file-related tasks as required.
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in claims processing and support.
• Strong customer service abilities.

• Capability to manage calls and direct them appropriately.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the organization.
