Position Overview

The Mental Health Association in Ulster County is seeking a Full-Time Residential Program Coordinator for our OMH licensed/unlicensed residential services aimed at supporting adults diagnosed with serious mental health conditions and potential co-occurring substance use issues. This role involves collaborating with Ulster County Mental Health and various external organizations, overseeing staff, and ensuring a secure environment for residents. Responsibilities also include monitoring Medicaid billing and fulfilling all documentation requirements for the residential programs under your supervision. The position requires day and occasional evening hours, along with on-call responsibilities. Services provided will be tailored to individual needs, focusing on enhancing the functioning and quality of life of our clients. You will manage daily operations, including staff oversight and the therapeutic care of residents, in alignment with MHA's objectives and regulatory standards.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The compensation for this role is $25.21 per hour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and executing rehabilitative programs and personalized service plans.
  • Managing daily operations effectively.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Residential Services to achieve departmental goals and objectives, while ensuring confidentiality of all program participants.
  • In partnership with the treatment team, overseeing the creation, implementation, and assessment of individualized service plans.
  • Supervising staff and maintaining a safe living environment for residents.
  • Administering and documenting medication as necessary.
  • Exhibiting strong organizational skills to oversee Medicaid billing, compliance with OMH regulations, incident reviews, quality assurance, and all necessary documentation for the program.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Human Services-related discipline; or an Associate's Degree in Human Services with three years of relevant experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in the Human Services sector.
  • Experience working with adults recovering from mental health issues and related substance use challenges is essential.
  • A clean, valid NY State driver's license with a minimum of three years of licensed driving experience is required.
