Ideal candidates are personable, driven, and possess a structured, entrepreneurial mindset. As a certified B-Corp, SunCommon is dedicated to removing obstacles to solar energy and empowering our community through sustainable practices.
SALES APPROACH
Our sales methodology is rooted in a consultative framework, aimed at educating homeowners about the significance of solar energy in our transition to a cleaner energy future. While most interactions occur virtually during standard business hours, we remain available to assist our clients whenever needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in continuous learning relevant to the solar industry and specific to your market area.
- Build trust with clients by understanding their unique needs and preferences.
- Articulate the value proposition of SunCommon and tailor solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Set realistic expectations regarding project execution and delivery.
- Close sales with a focus on customer comfort and satisfaction.
- Maintain a detailed and organized sales pipeline, managing both pre- and post-sales activities.
- Generate referrals and new leads through existing customer relationships.
- Finalize agreements and contracts, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- Communicate the environmental and financial benefits of solar energy effectively.
- Exhibit a positive and enthusiastic demeanor, essential for customer engagement.
- Conduct both in-home and virtual consultations, providing follow-up presentations as needed.
- Assist clients in completing financing applications and credit packages.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance personal and collective performance.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to ensure seamless project transitions.
- Keep detailed records of communications and project documentation in our CRM system.
- Contribute to a positive and dynamic workplace culture, fostering teamwork and appreciation for our customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Passion for customer engagement and sales, with a positive attitude.
- Experience in the solar industry is preferred.
- Ability to convey technical and financial concepts in an accessible manner.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing sales independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with technology, including mobile devices and software applications.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in renewable energy.
- Demonstrated dedication to social impact and community engagement.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
