Job Title: Director of Sales

Job Summary:

The Director of Sales at Minto Communities USA is responsible for leading the sales team to achieve revenue and sales growth targets. This role requires a strong sales and leadership background, with experience in managing a team and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and sales growth targets;
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to ensure they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service;
  • Monitor and analyze sales and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales efforts;
  • Ensure that all sales processes and procedures are followed and that sales data is accurately recorded and reported;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that the sales team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills;
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members to help them achieve their career goals;
  • Ensure that the sales team is meeting the company's customer service standards and that customer complaints are handled promptly and professionally;
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to ensure that the sales team has the skills and knowledge needed to succeed;

  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that sales processes are aligned with business operations;

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales and leadership experience, with a proven track record of achieving revenue and sales growth targets;
  • Strong sales and leadership skills, with experience in managing a team and driving business results;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement;
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices;
  • Ability to provide coaching and development opportunities to sales team members;
  • Ability to ensure that the sales team is meeting the company's customer service standards;
  • Ability to develop and implement sales training programs;
  • Ability to monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them;
  • Ability to collaborate with the operations team to ensure that sales processes are aligned with business operations;

Education:

High school education is required; post-secondary education is an asset.
