Role Summary
The Health Care Representative plays a vital role in enhancing the operations of medical offices by engaging in various functions that integrate both direct and indirect patient care.
In this essential position, the selected individual will deliver exceptional service to patients with a friendly demeanor while executing administrative tasks for the clinic or medical office, leveraging knowledge of medical terminology and relevant applications.

Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge typically acquired through a high school education; a minimum of one year of relevant and progressively responsible experience in a medical office, clinic, or mental health setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with medical terminology; experience in scheduling, screening, and confirming medical appointments using computerized systems; prior experience in obtaining/checking authorizations; proficiency in scanning documents and managing a multi-line phone system.
One year of experience in a clinical medical office setting with knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Must possess a strong desire and/or experience in working with a diverse patient population across various social, financial, and ethnic backgrounds.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision while accurately completing assignments is essential.
