Position Overview:
The Energy Engineer will oversee the energy management initiatives and manage the automated energy control systems. This role involves operating the current energy management software including CSI/Schneider, Siemens, and ALC on a computer. Responsibilities include programming, installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the energy management systems (EMS/BMS) and associated networks (LAN).

The role also entails the maintenance and repair of various mechanical systems on campus, such as boilers, heat exchangers, air conditioning units, chillers, ice machines, cooling towers, kitchen appliances, domestic water heaters, air handlers, and distribution boxes.

The direct supervisor for this position is the head of the HVAC department. Please refer to the complete job description for further details.

Position Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Completion of Local 68 Apprenticeship or participation in the program
- At least 3 years of verifiable experience in commercial or industrial air conditioning, refrigeration, or controls
- Skilled in pipe threading, soldering, and brazing
- Valid driver's license in New Jersey

Licenses and Certifications:
(preferred) New Jersey 1C Blue Seal license
NJ HVACR Contractor license
Universal CFC certification
NJ Class A Journeyman Electrician registration
