Key Responsibilities

Project Management for Data Solutions: Drive competitive advantage for PBF by delivering comprehensive financial and operational performance measurement solutions. This involves leveraging business intelligence and portal technologies to ensure that business processes and supporting systems are well-documented, sustainable, scalable, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the long-term strategic goals of the enterprise.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster a thorough understanding of shared information and business process requirements across Commercial, Accounting, and Refining departments. This role necessitates effective facilitation to achieve alignment across these departments, ensuring that business processes are both efficient and cost-effective.

Support for Special Projects: Assist line managers in various domains, including:

  • Management reporting and analysis
  • Commercial systems
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Cost control and margin optimization
  • Refinery yield and charge accounting
  • Hydrocarbon loss management
  • Mergers and acquisitions integration
  • Utilities management
  • Additional areas as required

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, auditing, or information technology is preferred, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, business process enhancement, and project management within the oil refining sector.

Extensive knowledge of commercial, accounting, and refinery business practices in the refining and marketing industry is essential, along with a proven ability to facilitate change management across various departments.
