We are seeking a highly skilled Program Specialist to join our team at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. As a Program Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, operation, and implementation of human or social service programs, as well as regulatory programs designed to ensure public safety, health, and welfare, or protection of the environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop databases, data collection methods, and dashboards using Office 365 (SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, etc.) and other tools to track and report on various activities within the Division of Health, Safety, and Facility Management.
- Coordinate and assist with the transition from traditional phone systems to Microsoft Teams phones.
- Coordinate cell phone distribution and billing.
- Assist the Office of Occupational Health & Safety with data needs.
- Assist the Director's Office with data collection and reporting.
- Maintain and update internal intranet sites.
- Research and present ideas for overall IT improvements.
- Four (4) years of professional experience relevant to the position.
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Applicants must meet one of the following, or a combination of both experience and education.
