Role Overview

As a Healthcare Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Aftercare team, ensuring that our patients receive the ongoing support they need after their visits.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and empathy.
  • Communicating lab results and providing guidance based on recommendations from our Aftercare clinicians.
  • Addressing patient inquiries regarding their clinical experiences, adhering to established workflows and standard operating procedures.
  • Collecting and attaching relevant clinical documents to patient records.
  • Reporting necessary cases to the appropriate health authorities.
  • Documenting all patient interactions thoroughly to facilitate seamless communication.
  • Responding promptly to tasks assigned through our customer relationship management system.
  • Utilizing multiple systems, including electronic medical records, to support patient follow-up and information dissemination.
  • Complying with HIPAA regulations and departmental performance metrics.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A passion for customer service and a commitment to patient satisfaction.
  • The ability to handle a significant volume of calls and casework daily.
  • A courteous, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A willingness to accept feedback and engage in continuous learning.
  • Flexibility to work full-time, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements

This position may involve repetitive tasks.
