Position Overview:
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Logistics Planning Specialist. This role is pivotal in managing supply planning, inventory oversight, deployment strategies, and supply chain analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee inventory levels and order fulfillment rates utilizing various system-based tools and regular collaboration with production sites, operations, business managers, and customer logistics.
  • Engage closely with manufacturing plants and external partners to assess capacity by location, production line, and variations in production while developing rolling production plans.
  • Utilize the SAP APO planning system to enhance supply and capacity planning processes.
  • Foster high levels of collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and demand planning teams throughout the S&OP process.
  • Work in conjunction with Customer Service and production facilities to create a dynamic supply chain while minimizing costs and complexity.
  • Achieve quarterly inventory targets effectively.
  • Coordinate with transportation, plant production planning, contract manufacturers, and warehouse teams to ensure demand fulfillment.
  • Analyze forecasts, inventory levels, service metrics, and processes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Address, communicate, and resolve supply chain issues promptly.

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA Degree Required; Focus in Supply Chain preferred.
  • 3-5 years of planning experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP APO preferred.
  • Familiarity with JDA, Power Bi, and Advanced Excel preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.

Skills and Competencies:
The role requires strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills, the ability to challenge the status quo, a solid financial mindset, and agility in adapting to changing priorities and projects.

Must possess the capability to make independent decisions swiftly and communicate effectively across all organizational levels and externally as required.

Ability to collaborate with various departments, including Marketing, CSP, Supply Chain, and Finance, is essential.

Demonstrated success in managing timelines effectively is a key requirement.
