Position Overview:
This full-time position is designed for professionals looking to make a significant impact in the field of medication management. As a Medication Management Specialist, you will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication therapy for patients across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations of medication regimens to assess their appropriateness and effectiveness, focusing on areas such as antimicrobial therapy and pain management.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to manage medication therapy effectively, ensuring that patient needs are prioritized.
• Utilize your expertise in medication science to educate staff and improve medication management protocols.

Staff Development:
• Provide training and educational resources to nursing staff, enhancing their understanding of medication safety and management.
• Participate in formulary review processes and contribute to the development of educational materials regarding new medications and policies.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
• Foster strong working relationships with medical and nursing staff, actively seeking opportunities to enhance patient care.
• Attend and contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement meetings, focusing on medication safety initiatives.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and capable of managing their own schedule effectively. Flexibility and accountability are key traits we value.

Qualifications:
• Must hold a valid pharmacy license.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel regionally to various healthcare facilities.
