Job Summary

National Property Management Associates, Inc. is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, this individual will be responsible for reviewing and processing invoices, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely payment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Review and Processing: Reconcile vendor statements, validate uncertain invoice items, and address billing discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Facilitate payment of invoices, send bill reminders, and communicate with clients.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile data for month-end reports, detailing dollars spent within GL categories.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in preparation and review of proof in payment, and support department projects and initiatives.
  • Utility Invoice Management: Timely input of utility invoices into software systems, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Proven Experience: 1-2 years of experience as an accounts payable clerk or in a related field.
  • Financial Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and proprietary software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent customer service orientation, negotiation skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary: $23.50 per hour
