Position Overview

Lattimore Physical Therapy is in search of a dedicated full-time Healthcare Administrative Coordinator to support our dynamic private practice across various locations. The ideal candidate should exhibit reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Role Summary: As a Healthcare Administrative Coordinator, you will be the initial point of contact for our practice, ensuring efficient patient flow, optimizing operational processes, and delivering essential administrative assistance to our physical therapists and management team.

The primary responsibilities of this role encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Welcoming patients and visitors, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and directing them to the appropriate staff.
  • Coordinating and confirming patient appointments.
  • Handling incoming phone calls.
  • Gathering patient information and confirming insurance eligibility.
  • Scanning and managing documents.
  • Routing faxes and electronic records.
  • Understanding HIPAA regulations and privacy compliance.
  • Verifying and following up on no-fault and workers' compensation claims.
  • Processing requests for medical records.
  • Utilizing office equipment, including voicemail systems, and proficiently using word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule, including days and evenings.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Medical Front Desk Receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Insurance Verification experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with Medent software (Preferred)
